Pablo Armero

Thought we sacked him off, not the other way around. Regardless, I'd have Cresswell over him any day of the week!!
From TalkSport
Former West Ham defender Pablo Armero has slammed AC Milan boss Filippo Inzaghi and now regrets his decision to leave the east London club during the summer.
Armero spent the second half of last season on loan at Upton Park before enjoying a successful World Cup with Colombia during the summer.
The 28-year-old was being tipped to secure a permanent move to West Ham before AC Milan made their move for the talented full-back and Sam Allardyce switched his attentions to Aaron Cresswell.
But Armero has only played one game for the Italian giants as a substitute and says he wanted to join a club where he could become one of the best players.
Armero, speaking on El Universal, said: "I've had a meeting with Mr Inzaghi. I didn't ask to go to Milan, I asked to go to a team where I could be a leader.
"It was Inzaghi who called and asked me to go to Milan, because he said he was depending on me.
"But so far I haven't found space in Serie A, where I thought I'd play regularly after a good World Cup.
"I'm not one of those players who likes to talk about what's going on in the dressing room, but the situation is quite difficult for me with Inzaghi at Milan.
"He said: 'come here, I need you'. I thought that he really meant it, but I never play."

You probably meant McCartney, why not just say that instead of being silly about it.

Let me spell it out.
I am not bothering with your opinion partially because you showed your ignorance by saying that Taylor kept Armero out of the team.
I was saying that I then expressed mine, which had no direct connection to yours.

I suppose that was a massive case of fat fingers then. Normally when people copy the name and date of a post they're responding directly to that post and poster.

Armero was like a child - no tactical nous and would be out of ovsition constantly.
I like Cresswell. A good West Ham left back. No more. I like a bit vf ambition from full back even if his defending is horrible, attrocious at times. Stick with Cresswell as he' s good enough for west ham and he may turn out to be with us long term as a bigger club wouldn't want him,.

Lots, most obviously that Taylor ever played in front Armero.
But its not all about you, you know.

I like Cresswell, but as others have said he's not very good at defending.

Poor Defender...
As a wide attacker...not good enough for The Prem...or West Ham...

He's not even a left-back...
Unless my altzeimer's is kicking in, I'm pretty sure he played as a conventional winger at the world cup and somebody else was in the number 3 slot...

Ha.
Because Taylor played a lot at left back last season.
Armero looked a lot like Cresswell, good going forward, suspect defending at times. Cresswell makes better decisions but Armero is faster. Would have like to keep the Columbian and see how he could have developed but not bothered now because we have someone younger on what I imagine is probably less money, not that I know for sure.

I think Cresswell has a way to go. I like him and I think he's a good signing but he needs to do a lot of work defensively.
As for Almero. I thought he was a good player who somehow found himself behind Taylor and O brien at times due to the genius of our glorious leader.

He's handed the opposition 3 goals on a plate. Cresswell is far from the finished article. Better than Amero? I doubt it.

Well, at least it's been confirmed you haven't seen much of West Ham over the years.

I fully concur. In fact I cannot understand how anyone gives him good marks defensively. He is an excellent crosser of the ball (much better than Jarvis), but defensively he's a disaster waiting to happen. I cite Stoke's second goal as an example. That was as pathetic as any defensive fuck up I've seen by a West Ham player. Gary Breen would have been shaking his head at that one.
